introduction of the "ASTAKUMBHAKA"
INTRODUCTION
In yogic science there are 8 types of different breathing techniques are mentioned by doing those breathing techniques human can increase the quality of the breath and improve the internal organ's life and productivity.
THERE ARE 8 TYPES OF THE BREATHING TECHNIQUES AS UNDER
1) ANULOM VILOM(अनुलोम विलोम)
2)KEVAL KUMBHAKA(केवल कुम्भक)
3) SHITALI KUMBHAKA(शितली कुम्भक)
4) SHITAKARI PRANAYAMA (शितकारी कुम्भक)
5)BHRAMARI PRANAYAMA(भ्रामरी कुम्भक)
6)PLAVINI KUMBHAKA(प्लाविनी कुम्भक)
7)MURCHA KUMBHAKA(मूर्छा कुम्भक)
8)BHASTRIKA PRANAYAMA(भर्त्रीका कुम्भक)
1) ANULOM VILOM PRANAYAMA
Anulom vilom pranayama is mainly associate our three main nadis(nerves) (नाडी) "inda","pingala","sushumna".there are twelve main nadis(nerves) those are:
1.inda 2.pingala 3.sushumna 4.gandhari 5.hastijihva 6.yashaswini 7.payaswini 8.kaushuki 9.shankhini 10.kuhu 11.pusha 12.alambusha
anulom vilom pranayama is also combition of surya bhedana and chandra bhedana pranayama. you have to make a "PRANAVA MUNDRA" in hand .breath in from your left nostril hold your breath for a while and breath out from the right nostril,breath in from the same nostril hold for a while and breath out from the another one . once you complete this whole process is called "EK AAVARTA"(ONE CYCLE).once you complete this one cycle your three nadis cleans internally and make your inner self happy.
2)BHRAMARI PRANAY'AMA
Bhramari means "the bees" the godess of the bees "mahalakshmi ,parvati,mahadevi"
so in this parnayama sit at any calm place ,put your three fingers on your eyes one on forehead ,close your ears with your thumb and take a breath in and make humming sound and concentrate on your mind and feel the vibrartion on your forehead .observe your internal peace and observe your breath,
3) SHITALI KUMBHAKA
In this pranayama you have to roll your tongue breath in from your mouth and breath out from your nose,when you brath in from your mouth the air will go through your tongue so that the air will enter cold inside because of the wet tongue.this pranayama this breathing technique is highly recomended for acidity problem.
4)SHITKARI KUMBHAKA
In this pranayama one need to show the teeth as you show to dentist then breath in from mouth then close your mouth and breath out from the nose .this pranayama is also highly recomended for the acidity problem. this pranayama will give you the coldness inside the body and calm your mind if your nature is highly angry.
5)BHASTRIKA KUMBHAKA
In the name bhastrika "BHASTRA" means one air weapon used by blacksmith "dhaman" that weapon strongly blow wind in the fire so while performing this breathing techniques human's lungs works like this .in this breathing technique one needs to forcefully breath in while raising both handa up and bring both hands down while forcefully breath out. this reduces the stress level of the humans .
6)PLAVINI KUMBHAKA
Plavini name comes from word "PLAV" which means "to swim".in this pranayama you can perform in the water and you can begin you have to breath in from the mouth and fill the stomach with air by doing this pranayama your body can actually swim on the top of the water without any effort because of the air inside the body.
7)MURCHA KUMBHAKA
Murcha itself means "fainted".after having the practices of the yogasanas when yogi rests so he should look like he /she is fainted but it is one technique of rest.
8)KEVAL KUMBHAKA
Keval kumbhaka is the last stage of the pranayama when breathing in and breathing out stops for while so its called keval kumbhaka.a small gap between the two breathes...
